Walking into your first yoga class can be an intimidating experience—expectations on yourself to already be flexible and know all the postures can leave you high tailing it to the door in one hot second. Sound relatable? This series has been designed for those who are hesitant to start but curious about beginning a yoga practice and for those who want to deepen a practice that is already going strong. We will be exploring over 25 postures and discussing some of the philosophy behind the practice.
Yoga is much more than a physically therapeutic practice to gain strength and flexibility—that is only a small part of the whole. A consistent yoga practice can also help relieve stress and anxiety, help you think more clearly and can help you feel more balanced and centered.
Charlotte Evans will be teaching this series! She has been practicing yoga for 8 years and teaching for almost 4 years here at Free Spirit and the greater Ogden area. She completed her 200-hour YogaLife teacher training with Maggie Odette in 2014 and 60-hr Personal Yoga Teaching/Business Mentorship with Scott Moore in 2016.
